// Chłopczyk, dziewczynka
I chłopczyk - raz, dziewczynka - dwa,
Dziewczynka - raz, i chłopczyk - dwa.
Chodźmy dzisiaj wszyscy potańczyć
Tańczyć będzie każdy z nas!
I mama też idzie tańczyć…
I chłopczyk - raz, dziewczynka – dwa…
Mój tata też idzie tańczyć…
Moja babcia też idzie tańczyć…
Mój dziadek też idzie tańczyć…
Już cała rodzina chce tańczyć.
// A Little Boy, a Little Girl
A little boy, a little girl,
A little girl, a little boy,
Why don't we all go dancing?
Let's go dancing, everyone!
Even my mum will go dancing…

One of my favourite musical discoveries in a while. These musicians are seriously talented. I can’t help imagining that there would have been a whole significant subculture of Yiddish psych rock like this in a different, kinder universe. For now, this is a window into that world that might have been. And I love every second of it. Audrey

i love a hedonism-monologue from the secondary antagonist of purim because i'm not above admitting akhashverosh's parties were probably pretty fun for him and his buds. s'a mekhaye tsu lebn af der erd, it's a delight to live on the earth! or at least we should make it be. absolutelynotjosh
